Burial Ground

The Parish Council is the burial authority for Hartley Wintney and owns and maintains the site adjacent to St Mary's Church on Church Lane as well as maintaining the closed burial ground at Old St Mary's and at All Soul's in Hartfordbridge.

The Parish Council Burial Ground has two sections, one for full interments and another for the interment of cremated remains. The Parish Council has recently opened a new extension site to the current burial ground to provide additonal capacity for the next 40 years. In addition there is now also a Garden of Remembrance when residents can plant a rose in memory of a loved one.
