 The Parish Council owns and manages an allotment site at Vicarage Hill. There are currently 42 allotments (all occupied.) The waiting list for plots is lengthy with the average waiting time for a plot being approximately 5 – 6 years. Please contact the office if you wish to be added to the waiting list. All plot holder are invited to join the newly formed village allotment association which is designed to help members swap plants, seeds and tips, and seek advice from other members on growing methods. The Parish is keen to procure or lease more land for the provision of allotments and would be very please to speak to anyone who might be able to offer a suitable area.   The Parish Council is currently in the process of launching a Garden Share Scheme. This project is designed to match people on the allotment waiting list with homeowners whose own vegetable patch or garden is big enough that they can spare a corner for cultivation. We are always looking for extra gardens to take part in the scheme so again do contact us if you can help.
